The winner will receive the 2022 Tennessee Conservation Elk Tag for the fall rifle elk hunt in the premier elk hunting zone (EHZ1) in the North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area. EHZ1, Chestnut Ridge and Fork Mountain, spans 6,827 acres with multiple wildlife openings, and it has the highest hunter success rate of any zone. The 7-day quota hunt takes place October 8-14, 2022. If the winner of this tag has not been successful in EHZ 1 after 7 days, then all the zones will be available for an additional 7 days (14 days total).

The newly-threaded bolt handle is equipped with a lightweight aluminum extended and skeletonized knob. Fit with a titanium version of Weatherby’s highly-effective Accubrake® ST, this brake is blended to match the profile of the #4 carbon fiber barrel. With 30 symmetrically-spaced ports that help harness the recoil, it tames even magnum chamberings and makes them pleasant to shoot. With exposed carbon fiber on both the barrel and the stock, all metal on the action and barrel is sealed away behind a ceramic Cerakote® shell in Patriot Brown. The stock carries a complementary brown and green pattern to help break up the gun’s lines in the field.
